This week, as we continue our Together we THRIVE campaign, we move from community care to thinking about chosen family, and the ways we can create and care for these families.
Why do we build chosen families? Biological families are what we are born into, and are often held as the pinnacle relationship in society. But, these families so often might abuse, neglect, reject, and / or disown those of us within marginalized communities. Thus, we seek to form healthier, better bonded chosen families. Even though these chosen families still face challenges -- just like any relationship -- the intentionality behind mutually built relationships often helps us find safety, healing, and belonging.

20% of all merchandise sales will go directly to THRIVE services, helping to pay for our:
- 24/7/365 text-based crisis line,
- RECRUIT Undergraduate Internship,
- Curriculum development and educational outreach, and
- TRANS affirmation cards and support groups.
