In the final week of our Together we THRIVE campaign, we move from chosen family and community care to our own self care, and what that can look like when we're also experiencing daily marginalization.

What is self care within marginalized communities? Self care is often promoted and talked about in society, yet traditional self care can include assumptions of privilege such as time, energy levels, finances, and ability. Thus, traditional self care suggestions may not be accessible or feel relevant to us as we navigate working multiple jobs; caregiving; barriers to education, housing, and promotion; surviving on lower wages; and disability and health conditions.
Follow along all week in our social media channels as we share some ways to care for yourself that might align better with your reality.
