Later this season, the ensemble will be releasing a new album featuring Schubert's Piano Trio in E-flat major and Mieczysław Weinberg's Piano Trio. The group's recent album releases have attracted tremendous critical acclaim. The latest album of trios by Shostakovich and Arensky (Orchid Classics) was a Gramophone “Editor's Choice” and singled out by BBC Music magazine as a “Chamber Choice” of the month. The disc also won the German Record Critics' Award (Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik). An album featuring the complete Beethoven piano trios (Orchid Classics) garnered broad, enthusiastic praise from critics and fans alike with the BBC Music Magazine calling it “a triumph.” And the most recent release of Bent Sørensen's triple concerto with the Danish National Symphony and Maestro Jukka-Pekka Saraste on Dacapo Records has received 5 stars in an excellent review in BBC Music magazine.

Double anniversary year - 2024 also marks
Chamber Music at Lundsgaard's 10th Anniversary!
Trio con Brio Copenhagen navigated their annual chamber music festival through the coronavirus lockdowns and restrictions and managed to hold the festival every single year since 2014 without cancellations!
Chamber Music at Lundsgaard takes place in early August at the Lundsgaard Estate just outside the picturesque harbor city of Kerteminde on Funen Island. The multifaceted festival presents a mix of well-known classical repertoire and adventurous programming featuring both world-renowned artists and the next generation of talented musicians. Woven into the festival's offerings are elements of science, drama, literature, and visual arts, blending art forms to create a unique experience with a different theme each year. World class artists like Elisabeth Leonskaja, Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider, Martin Fröst, Nils Mönkemeyer, Tatjana Masurenko, Danish String Quartet, Quartetto di Cremona, David Kadouch and Enrico Pace appear with some of today's best young artists in a supportive, nourishing and artistically vibrant environment.
